Project Description

Designing shirts is always fun and challenging, especially within style guide confines and the confines of whichever print process is being done. Doing offset hits (like the Deadman Wonderland shirt) is one of my favorite things to do, but is usually a more costly option.

Project Description

Hats and beanies are great to design for. They use embroidery processes and other unique printing processes, and there is a lot you can do-but simplicity is usually best for cost effective solutions.

Project Description

Items that seem to be the easiest (like notebooks), actually require a lot of planning. There is the cover stock paper, cover treatment. (I wanted foil stamping to the front), and then the internal pages design and possibly the internal cover (if necessary). How it’s bound and how it’s packaged are also big things as well.

Project Description

Designing things for the home are actually a lot of fun-because they can be tongue in cheek in terms of referencing something from a property that they are from, or they can be more straight forward. There is also a lot more leeway (from the licensor end) in terms of how licensed properties can be used when it’s not a figure or a shirt. So its actually an area where I can be a little more creative and have a little more fun with properties.
